Sustainable Leather Futures

Design & Material Innovation

Proudly, we report on the successful master's thesis, which we were able to support at the fashion school Esmod Berlin.

The thesis deals with sustainability issues in the leather industry and supports companies in their attempt to operate more sustainably with a concrete approach.

The aim of the work is to apply the principles of sustainability to all levels of the business - starting with the design process, through production, to the marketing of the leather goods.

In the course of this work, a new concept called "Next Generation Pattern" and a Capsule Collection were developed in cooperation. The collection has a mature and timeless design and is designed to extend the product life cycle.

We are particularly pleased about the successful cooperation, as we are now, as in the past, committed to the sustainability of our products and would like to support the next generation in this endeavour.
