There for each other
HAROLD'S FRIENDS
Over the years, we've met many wonderful people through collaborations, joint trade fair participation, or simply shared interests. We'd like to gradually add a place and link to them here. We hope you enjoy browsing!

Atelier Betty Montarou
Betty Montarou ( @bettymontarou ) from Offenbach! In our conversations about her craft, we discovered some parallels to our work! Both clay and leather are shaped into unique products through traditional craftsmanship, with each piece reflecting the care and expertise of the work.

Sheila Seyfert-Menzel
We owe Sheila her graphic support and advice when it comes to the design of our catalogs, image brochures, and occasionally our trade show booths. //www.sheilaseyfert.com

Domain de Boisbuchet
Boisbuchet was the dream of a design amateur and expert: Alexander von Vegesack. He wanted a place where design meets education, in the broadest sense. Around 25 years ago, he purchased the 150-hectare Domaine de Boisbuchet. Since then, experts and students have come every year to experience how internationally successful professionals structure their work and approach design problems.

Thilo Schmelz participated in a workshop here and developed an innovative leather utensil: the Meander . It provides a tidy place for pens, business cards, postcards, and all the little things that tend to pile up on desk, dresser, or sideboard shelves.

format
FORMAT stands for products with clear shapes, defined details, and confident lines for casual yet well-dressed women and men. The FORMAT collection is seasonless, and everything is produced locally, fairly, and ecologically in Berlin. We are delighted about our collaboration with FORMAT, which has now lasted for many years.

Kraud
KRAUD is a label for products and objects.
For things that tell a story. It marks exceptional furniture, lighting, and accessories with a sculptural character. Sometimes accommodating, sometimes challenging.
The 'Paperbag' from the Harold's Concepts Accessories Collection was designed by the two designers and has since become a classic in our program. https://kraud.de/de/de-home/

Radio x
Radio X has been on air 24 hours a day since 1997. It's a radio station without editors-in-chief, without ratings, and without advertising. Around 400 residents of Frankfurt, Offenbach, and the surrounding area, organized into approximately 90 independent editorial teams, create a diverse program outside the mainstream.

Darmstadt State Theatre
The Darmstadt State Theater is a multi-disciplinary theater with music and dance theater, drama, and concerts. Around 40 productions are performed each season. The theater also presents itself in the city, giving concerts at venues such as the Central Station.
In 2021, we were able to use the theater's beautiful facilities for our photo shoot. https://www.staatstheater-darmstadt.de

Anne Lorenz
'Home Traveller' is a storage item for the home that doesn't fit into any drawer. The combination of a travel bag and a chest of drawers offers plenty of space for clothes and other items and encourages us to rethink our ideas of order and mobility. The item doesn't require a fixed location in the home and can be placed here and there like an accessory. When empty, it can be folded and stored away to save space.
Anne Lorenz was nominated as a newcomer for the German Design Award in 2012. Two years earlier, the Hamburg native had completed her studies in Karlsruhe and gained experience working with designers in Paris and Rio de Janeiro. Closely linked to fashion design, Anne loves playing with materials, color, and form.
