The cubicbag travel and sportbag S is made from genuine convertible top fabric, as used in automobile production. On average, 80% of the material used is leftover convertible top material, and 20% is new convertible top material. The material is virtually waterproof, colorfast, and dimensionally stable, meaning it won't stretch.
The travel bag can be carried by hand using the short handle or over the shoulder using the two long straps. The shoulder straps are made of leather. The travel bag's distinctive and clean shape is the result of the folding principle.
When empty, it lies flat and can be stowed away to save space. Half-filled, the bag unfolds to the bottom, and when fully packed, it forms a cuboid-shaped body with rounded sides. A zipper and metal Loxx pull fasteners keep the bag closed in any condition. The interior features an inner pocket with two compartments. The travel bag is suitable for short trips or as a weekender. Its unique shape and functionality make it a design object with high usability.
The cubicbag travel won the red dot award in 2001 and the Finalist Award at the International Leather Goods Fair in Offenbach in 2005.
